Monarch Kitchen & Bath Centre Honoured with Business Excellence Award from Ajax-Pickering Board of Trade

We're thrilled to announce that last night, Monarch Kitchen & Bath Centre was honoured with a Business Excellence Award from the Ajax-Pickering Board of Trade.

The Ajax-Pickering Board of Trade (APBOT) is the voice of the business community in Ajax and Pickering. Established in 1955, the 500-plus members represent a wide array of business sectors. The APBOT Business Excellence Awards were established in 1994 to recognize the achievements and excellence in business performance. All award submissions are evaluated by an independent panel of judges.

“As a longstanding APBOT member and an active member of the Ajax-Pickering business community, it is an honour to be recognized for our commitment to excellence," said president Neil Samson after first learning of Monarch's award nomination in July. "We are incredibly proud and humbled that our client felt so strongly about the quality of our service to nominate us for this award.”

On the eve of this Thanksgiving long weekend, we wish to give thanks to all of our clients for trusting us with their kitchen and bath design dreams.

Our Thanksgiving weekend showroom hours are as follows:

Saturday, October 11th - 9am to 5pm
Sunday, October 12th - closed
Monday, October 13th - closed

Happy Thanksgiving!

Monarch Kitchen & Bath Centre Nominated for APBOT Business Excellence Award

At Monarch Kitchen & Bath Centre, we understand that our success depends solely on the satisfaction of our clients. Recently, we received word that a past client (and business associate) had nominated us for a Business Excellence Award from the Ajax-Pickering Board of Trade.

An independent panel of judges evaluates the nominees based on three categories – one to nine, 10 to 49, and 50+ employees.

“As a longstanding APBOT member and an active member of the Ajax-Pickering business community, it is an honour to be recognized for our commitment to excellence,” says Monarch president Neil Samson. “But most importantly, we are incredibly proud and humbled that our client felt so strongly about the quality of our service to nominate us for this award.”

The winners of the 20th Annual Business Excellence Awards will be announced at a special ceremony on October 9th, 2014, at the Ajax Convention Centre.

are presented with an Eco-Business Level III certificate from the Ajax-Pickering Board of Trade.

"The Ajax-Pickering Board of Trade (APBOT) officially launched Level III of their Eco Business Program at the APBOT Offices today. The release of the Level III Checklist marks the third and final step in the Board's Award Winning Eco Business Program. Companies that have completed Levels I and II of the program are eligible to submit their Level III checklist and certificates are granted to companies that achieve compliance with 80% or higher on the checklist

"It is fitting to launch this third and final Level of our Eco Business Program here on April 23rd, the work day closest to Earth Day which was celebrated around the Globe yesterday," said 2012 Ajax-Pickering Board of Trade President Gary Strange of First Durham Insurance and Financial. "As a long standing member and former chair of the Eco Business Advisory Committee, it is with no small degree of pride that we take this next step."

Mayors Parish and Ryan brought greetings and words of congratulations to the Board of Trade.

Monarch Kitchen and Bath Centre Presented with Phase II Eco-Business Cerficate

Ajax-Pickering Board of Trade representatives paid a visit to Monarch's Pickering showroom recently to present president Neil Samson and his team with their Phase II Eco-Business Certificate.

From the Ajax-Pickering Board of Trade's e-newsletter, The Bulletin:
"On Tuesday, November 1st, APBOT representatives were on site at Monarch Kitchen and Bath Centre in Pickering to present the company with their Phase II Eco-Business certificate. The certificate was presented by Peter Forint of Wardell Professional Development, Chair of the Board of Trade's Eco-Business Advisory Committee, and Gary Strange of First Durham Insurance and Financial, the first vice-president of the Ajax-Pickering Board of Trade.

Whereas the Phase I certificate is awarded to businesses who make a commitment to take steps to make their business more sustainable, Phase II rewards the follow-through and the tangible efforts made by a company.

Congratulations to Neil Samson and the team at Monarch Kitchen and Bath Centre. This is truly an accomplishment of which the company can be proud."
